Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safety and Security Regional Manager to join the ArcBest team in Albuquerque, NM. As a Regional Manager, Safety & Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting company assets, ensuring safe working conditions, and compliance with regulations and standards.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections of ABF facilities and properties.
• Investigate vehicular accidents, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate loss prevention activities, training sessions, and surveillance operations.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and manage hazardous material incidents.
• Oversee personnel, budget allocations, and support alternate work programs.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals.
• Other duties as assigned, with occasional irregular work hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience in transportation safety or law enforcement.
• Minimum five years of experience with a background in safety, DOT compliance, or investigative work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of safety regulations and investigative procedures.
• Ability to work in potentially hazardous situations and be on call 24/7.
