Job Description
Join one of the country's largest and most trusted LTL carriers, ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, as a Safety and Security Regional Manager. In this role, you will protect company assets, ensure safe working conditions, and maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
General Description of Duties
- Conduct safety and security inspections of facilities and properties.
- Investigate and handle vehicular accidents, theft, and hazardous material incidents.
- Analyze data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Establish relationships with enforcement agencies and management.
- Assist with DOT compliance, hazardous material handling, and driver training.
- Manage personnel and oversee expenditures.
- Work in a team setting to achieve department goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
- Minimum five years of transportation, safety, or law enforcement experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, accident investigation, and law enforcement practices.
