Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity for the role of Safety and Security Regional Manager at ArcBest, specifically at our ABF Freight location in Albuquerque, NM. As a Regional Manager in the Safety and Security department, you will play a crucial role in protecting company assets, ensuring safe working conditions, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
General Description of Duties
- Conduct safety and security inspections of company facilities and properties.
- Investigate vehicular accidents, handle loss prevention, and analyze data to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and manage hazardous material incidents.
- Oversee training sessions, employee orientation, and ensure DOT compliance.
- Manage personnel, support department goals, and handle other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience with strong investigative background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and extensive knowledge of safety regulations.
- Ability to work in hazardous situations, be on call 24/7, and travel as needed.
