Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin. This position involves assisting RNs in providing essential care to patients, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist RNs with daily patient care activities such as hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Measure and record vital signs and patient data accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes under RN supervision.
- Collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Support patient positioning, nutritional needs, and skin integrity maintenance.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Nurse Aide registration.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Basic computer skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
