Store Associate

Job Description

We are hiring a Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-maintained and that customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years to work at ALDI
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment such as electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber
• General cleaning duties adherence to company standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is an advantage
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
