Job Description

As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold high standards of customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and adhere to cash handling policies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
