Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a full-time member of our team, you'll be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. This position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour with an average of 32-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's competencies and professional skills consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
