Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store is maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
  • Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
  • Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Comply with company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality of data.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years to work at ALDI.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
