Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Perform general cleaning duties and follow company standards
  • Complete other assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Knowledge of operating store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience is a plus
