Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains its high standards and provides exceptional customer service. From merchandising to cashiering, you will contribute to creating a pleasant shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
  • Follow cash handling procedures and company policies to ensure security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus
