Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. From stocking shelves to providing exceptional customer service, you will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver top-notch service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) while performing daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean sales floor.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and store improvements.
• Participate in inventory counts per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow all established company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
• Complete any other duties assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organizational skills, ability to multitask, and follow instructions effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales (if applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in retail is advantageous.
• Combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
