Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Participate in inventory counting and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and equipment efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is an asset.
