Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will play a crucial part in enhancing our customers' shopping experience through exceptional service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Follow ALDI's M.A.P. guidelines and demonstrate professionalism in all tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are attractive.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with management.
• Conduct inventory counts, adhere to cash handling procedures, and maintain store policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate a cash register and various store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• High school diploma preferred, with retail experience being a plus.
