We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and customers receive excellent service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures in a secure and confidential manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe handling of equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience is preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
