Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will be crucial in enhancing our customers' shopping experience by ensuring exceptional service and collaboration with the Aldi team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in cash register operation and store equipment.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
