Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a valuable member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Collaborate with team members and demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers throughout their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team and offer feedback on products and inventory.
  • Adhere to company policies, ensure cash procedures are followed, and uphold document security.
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, experience in retail is a plus.
