Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
