Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising products, operating the cashier, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with the ALDI team, follow company guidelines, and ensure efficient store operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash handling policies, comply with company procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Execute additional assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated customer service and cash register proficiency.
• Ability to operate retail equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently or in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to organize tasks and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
