Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a neat store appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cash handling guidelines.
• Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
