Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital member of the store, you will play a key role in maintaining merchandise, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the store's overall appearance is top-notch.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute valuable feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies while safeguarding confidential information.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Execute general cleaning duties to the company's standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
