Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold the store's high standards. Collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service will be key to enhancing the shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Carry out additional assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness as per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail is a plus.
• Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience.
