Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial member of the store staff, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks following ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management
  • Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard documents and data
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Prior retail experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
