Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean store facilities, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in inventory management and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned tasks diligently.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment safely.
  • Capable of meeting physical demands, including lifting merchandise and performing cleaning tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role's requirements.
