Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. As a key member of the team, you will handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
