Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers are served efficiently, and the overall shopping experience is exceptional. This is a full-time position, offering 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $19.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate consistent adherence to the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and create attractive merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure cash handling procedures are followed meticulously.
- Comply with company policies, uphold confidentiality, and perform any assigned duties diligently.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years to work at Aldi.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capability to carry out general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
