Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a vital team member, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandising displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 is required for this role.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler safely and correctly.
• Interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Retail experience is a plus.
