Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by handling merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your responsibilities include collaborating with the ALDI team, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store looks its best.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Comply with company policies, safeguard data security, and perform assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment.
  • Ability to follow company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
  • High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
