Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your focus on customer service and teamwork will contribute to a positive shopping experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies, safeguard documents and data.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Prior experience in retail is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages according to state regulations.
