Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a Store Operations Assistant! As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is tidy for an excellent customer shopping experience. Operating on a full-time basis, you will earn a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and support the team and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Assist with inventory counts and adhere to cash management policies
• Follow company policies, ensure data security, and perform assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, prior retail experience preferred
