Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your exceptional service and teamwork will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy, adhere to cash handling policies, and follow company procedures
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Demonstrated ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the role and maintaining store standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking capabilities
