Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Team Member, you will be responsible for tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide customers with a pleasant shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties outlined for the role following the M.A.P. guidelines.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess excellent customer service skills and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
