Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean store environment to deliver a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute tasks while embodying the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality
• Perform additional assigned duties as necessary

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Capable of delivering courteous customer service
• Efficient cash handling skills
• Ability to operate various equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
