Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.

Position Information

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and professionalism in all tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and maintain security measures.
• Follow company policies and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks including stocking, bending, and reaching.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
• Familiarity with retail equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
