Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with your colleagues, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on product quality, inventory management, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory checks and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established protocols to safeguard company assets and information
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
• Ability to use equipment such as manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Knowledge of general cleaning practices and company policies
• Strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Organized, attentive to instructions, and able to multitask efficiently

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
