Job Description
We are hiring a Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an outstanding customer shopping experience. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Physical Demands
Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, carry, and move throughout the store
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safely handle store equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Work both independently and within a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail environment preferred
- Combinations of education and experience considered
