Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and move product to various heights.
• Regularly stand, bend, reach, lift, and move around the store.
• Execute tasks independently or with accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
