Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers, while working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, handle inventory counts, and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company procedures, policies, and security measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Proficiency in courteous customer service and cash register operation.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience is acceptable.
