Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member and play a key role in maintaining the store's operations. As a Store Team Member, your responsibilities will revolve around merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store remains in top condition to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow all established company policies while maintaining data security.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Fulfill all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience is acceptable.
