Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team will contribute to creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
