Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with company policies while safeguarding data security.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands like lifting and stocking merchandise.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent education and experience providing relevant knowledge.
