Job Description
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain document security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness and following company policies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meets state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
