Job Description
The Restoration Superintendent at BluSky plays a crucial role in overseeing restoration, reconstruction, and capital improvement projects. The selected candidate will manage vendor selection, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and ensure high-quality results. This position requires close collaboration with occupants and property owners to guarantee top-tier customer satisfaction. WRT, ASD, and Mold certifications are highly valued, and the ability to handle mitigation, first responder, and emergency services jobs is essential.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Field Management: Follow project scope, ensure work contracts, obtain permits, adhere to regulations, manage subcontractors, supervise personnel, ensure high workmanship standards, provide excellent customer service.
- Office Management: Execute subcontractor agreements, approve invoices, develop project schedules, mentor junior team members, manage emergency on-call rotation.
- Profitability Management: Meet billing and profit goals, secure bids, complete buyout worksheet, track change orders.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of construction or restoration experience preferred.
- 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel for emergency responses nationwide.
- Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
