Tire Design Engineer

Job Description

Toyo Tires is seeking a Tire Design Engineer to join our team at the state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the tire manufacturing process, conducting experimental tire builds, analyzing test tire sections, and maintaining production standards to ensure optimal tire performance. This role requires an engineering degree and one to two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue experimental tire building specifications
• Conduct controlled experimental tire builds and analyze test tire sections
• Verify production component accuracy and placement
• Review factory processing of initial production tires
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate testing and build processes
• Perform competitor tire analysis and collaborate with Material Design Engineers
• Write reports and procedures
• Maintain existing specifications and support production departments

Education and Experience

Engineering degree in Mechanical or related field with one to two years of relevant experience.
