Tire Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Tire Design Engineer to join the TOYO TIRE team at our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the tire manufacturing process, ensuring tire performance meets target applications by introducing new tire lines and maintaining plant specifications. This position involves creating experimental and production tire building specifications, coordinating testing, analyzing tire performance, and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

• Create experimental and production tire building specifications.
• Conduct controlled experimental tire builds and coordinate confirmation testing.
• Analyze test tire sections and failure modes.
• Coordinate project schedules and testing.
• Perform competitor tire analysis and work with material design engineers.
• Write reports and procedures, communicate effectively with peers and management.

Requirements

• Engineering degree from an accredited university, preferably in Mechanical.
• 1-2 years of related experience or training.
• Detail-oriented and enthusiastic approach.
• Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.
