Toyo Tires is a leading international tire manufacturing company seeking a Tire Design Engineer for our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tire manufacturing processes, construction, testing, and performance optimization. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining tire building specifications, coordinating testing, analyzing tire performance, and resolving production issues.
Responsibilities
- Create and issue experimental and production tire building specifications.
- Conduct controlled experimental tire builds and verify cured tire appearance.
- Analyze test tire sections and failure modes.
- Maintain project schedules and coordinate testing processes.
- Collaborate with Material Design Engineers on material evaluation programs.
Education and/or Experience
Engineering degree required, with one to two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
