Tire Design Engineer

Job Description

TOYOTI1, a leading international tire manufacturing company, is seeking a Tire Design Engineer to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the tire manufacturing process, conducting experimental tire builds, analyzing tire performance, and resolving production issues to improve overall tire quality.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue experimental tire building specifications.
• Conduct controlled experimental tire builds and coordinate confirmation testing.
• Analyze test tire sections and understand failure modes.
• Create initial and mass production tire building specifications.
• Coordinate project schedules, testing, and competitor tire analysis.
• Collaborate with Material Design Engineers to introduce new materials.
• Write reports, present information in meetings, and provide necessary support to production departments.

Education and Experience

Engineering degree preferably in Mechanical with one to two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
