Job Description
We are looking for a talented Tire Design Engineer to join TOYO TIRES, a leading international tire manufacturing company with a legacy of over 75 years in the industry. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the tire design process, testing, and ensuring optimal performance in line with target applications.
Responsibilities
- Create experimental tire building specifications and conduct controlled experimental tire builds.
- Perform analysis on test tire sections to ensure dimensional accuracy and understand failure modes.
- Develop and maintain production tire building specifications, coordinating production builds and testing.
- Collaborate with Material Design Engineers to introduce new materials into production.
- Prepare reports, maintain specifications, and support production departments when required.
Education and Experience
Engineering degree from an accredited university, preferably in Mechanical, and one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
