Job Description
We are looking for a Tire Design Engineer to join our innovative team at TOYO TIRE NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING INC. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the tire manufacturing process, conducting experimental tire builds, analyzing test results, and maintaining production standards to ensure top-tier performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge tire design and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Create experimental and production tire building specifications.
- Conduct tire builds, verify component accuracy, and analyze cured tire appearance.
- Analyze test tire sections, understand failure modes, and correlate results to real-world conditions.
- Maintain project schedules, coordinate tire builds and testing.
- Collaborate with Material Design Engineers on introducing new materials to the production process.
- Write reports, procedures, and effectively communicate findings to peers and management.
Education and Experience
Engineering degree from an accredited university, preferably in Mechanical, with one to two years of related experience.
